Operations Manager

Position Details

• Reports to: Connor Higgins, Branch Manager
• Team size: 12 associates, direct oversight of 5 associates

• Champion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and tools
• Drive safety, quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives
• Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments to improve operation results
• Ensure warehouse operation is led with efficiency and success
• Handle inventory control in the warehouse
• Interact with vendors to coordinate inventory returns

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• 2+ years management/leadership experience with handling inventory/operational tasks
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience is recommended
• Ability to adapt and change processes to keep pace with evolving business requirements
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills to respond to urgent situations
• Process oriented with good judgment and decision‑making abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to lead a team
• Confirmed understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft O365 applications

$5,525.00 – $8,825.00 (Monthly for salaried roles, hourly for all other roles). This role is bonus or incentive‑plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations, and the starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
