Duties Includeallduties,skills,andresponsibilitiesasPD1

Office Management/Staff Officer – Skill Level 3 and the following:

Provide office-levelstaffandtechnicalsupport,includingbutnotlimitedto:

  • Directingtheactivitiesofotherstaff,as necessary,relatedtospecifiedfieldandspecialprojects
  • Leading event or meeting coordination, to include scheduling facilities, developing agendas, assisting event/group coordinators, andsupportingtheoverallevent/meeting execution
  • Serveasasubject-matter expert,handling inquiries,developingactionplans,andassistingwith preparation and dissemination of communications

Providewrittenandverbalcommunicationsupporttovariousaudiences,includingbutnot limited to:

  • Drivescontentcreationandbriefsforkeyinternalandexternalmeetings/initiatives
  • Reviewing,rewriting,andeditingworkproductsfromallorganizationallevelsfor senior directorate or office leadership review

Apply logic,critical thinking,analysis,and problem-solving skills,toinclude:

  • Coordinate key strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring fluid communication acrossthedirectorateandholdingofficesaccountabletodriveoutcomesatthehighest standard of quality and timeliness
  • Leadinginternalofficeprocessand/orpolicydevelopmentandclarificationtosupport mission objectives
  • Providessubjectmatterexpertiseandguidancetoteammembersandleadershipon intricate issues affecting mission outcomes.
  • Analyzescomplexsituationsandchallenges,ensuring that proposedsolutionsarein alignment with established policies and strategic goals.

Applyknowledgeandunderstandingofcomplexissues,policies,andorganizationalobjectivesto support mission execution

  • Leadingandperformingonspecialprojectstoensuretimelydeliveryofproductsand services to meet master schedules and program milestones
  • Interpretsandappliescomplexpoliciesandorganizationalobjectivestodailyoperations and strategic planning.
  • Developsstrategiesandoperationalplansthateffectivelytranslatehigh-level organizationalobjectivesinto actionable tasks.
  • Monitorstheoperationalenvironmenttoensureongoingactivitiesremainconsistent with organizational policy and mission objectives.

Required/Desired Skillsand Experience :

  • Demonstratesflexibilityandresourcefulnesswhenfacedwithevolvingchallengesandpriorities.
  • Demonstratedexperiencefacilitatingexecutivemeetingcadence,preparing leadership materials, and managing operational / governance processes
  • Demonstratedexperiencedraftingpolicies(e.g.,directives,instructions,manuals, SOPs) for the IC, NGA, DoD, or Federal government
  • Demonstratedexperiencedesigningnewprocessesanddocumentingimprovementsto improve office efficiency
