Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track.
The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within an Aerospace & Defense environment.
Location:
Springfield, VA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $218,450 – $295,550 annually
Responsibilities- Manage and lead employees and mid-level managers in program execution activities
- Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures
- Guide the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives
- Acquire and allocate resources to support organizational activities
Provide technical management oversight of suppliers and external partners - Build and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, program management, engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience leading or managing large or complex teams of managers and/or non-management employees
- 10+ years of combined space operations experience at strategic, operational, and tactical levels
- Experience with Program Management, project management, and/or Business Operations
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying organizational plans and strategies
