Section Manager

** Description*
* SAIC is seeking an experienced Section Manager in support of leading a team within our customer's Office of Security.  This individual is expected to operate in a diverse security environment.  The position will be required to perform at a Senior level.

This position will be responsible for the following:

+ Lead team members, oversee daily operations and ensure company and customer standards for performance and productivity are met.

+ Responsible for mentoring staff, resolving operational issues, and enforcing policies.

+ Provide subject matter expertise, assistance, recommendations and hands-on-support.

+ Share knowledge and experience to facilitate effective practices and increase staff awareness of best practices.

+ Approve timecards and conduct performance reviews

** Qualifications*
* + Active TS/SCI clearance is required

+ Ability to obtain a Polygraph

+ 9+ years of overall related experience

+ Proven experience in leadership roles.

+ Strong team leadership and stakeholder management skills.

+ Excellent project planning and organizational abilities.

+ Effective communication skills.
