About the RoleRegistered Nurse (RN) for Flex/PRN shifts. The RN promotes, restores, and maintains resident health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates. The primary role is to provide physical, psychosocial, and clinical support to residents and families.
CompensationStarting at $40.00/hr up to $48.00/hr plus shift differential, depending upon experience.
Responsibilities- Develop relationships with residents and families, supporting their physical, emotional, and clinical needs.
- Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
- Promote resident independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents and families about conditions, medication, and self‑care skills.
- Monitor resident clinical status, identify changes, and act promptly to ensure comfort and safety.
- Work alongside care associates to provide routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed.
- Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
- Develop and coordinate a comprehensive holistic care plan in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Support resident preferences and choices in the electronic medical record.
- Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
- Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by the Clinical Manager.
- Minimum 6 months RN experience.
- Experience caring for seniors or those with cognitive impairment preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web applications.
- Experience with an electronic medical record preferred.
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- CPR certification required.
- Compliance with applicable state regulations and requirements.
