Infusion Nurse; RN - Springfield, VA

About the Role

The Infusion Nurse will contribute to the company’s growth by providing direct patient care at our clinic in Springfield, VA. This role requires autonomous work, starting IVs, and handling biologic drugs. Hours are predictable with a 3:1 patient to clinician ratio.

• Assess and document the health status of the patient
• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and organization guidelines
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies
• Communicate openly with referring/prescribing providers for order clarification, patient status, and plan of care
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients

• Current RN licensure in Virginia
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy, working in a clinical setting, seeing multiple patients at one time
• Comfortable working autonomously, inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift
• ACLS & PALS Certification (preferred)
• Current BLS CPR certification
• Excellent IV skills (infusion therapy experience a plus)
• Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to work 1 to 2 Saturdays a month
