Job Overview
The Assistant Manager role is a high-impact sales position responsible for driving revenue, growing accounts, and maximizing branch performance.
Key Responsibilities- Drive sales performance by efficiently managing a dynamic workflow and meeting productivity targets, ensuring timely, high-quality service.
- Consistently deliver a high-energy, sales-focused customer experience.
- Actively sell and cross-sell credit and loan products by assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Own the full loan process, from application through funding, using strong product knowledge to close sales.
- Meet and exceed individual and branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
- Drive new and repeat business through in-branch conversations and outbound phone calls.
- Increase branch profitability by growing account volume and improving customer retention.
- Maintain accurate cash handling while following all company security and audit procedures; accurately receive, post, and track payments and fees in compliance with company policy.
- Transport funds and deposits to and from the bank as required.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall branch sales performance.
- Manage delinquency by building rapport, offering tailored payment options, and converting delinquent accounts into resolved balances.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in sales-driven customer service, retail sales, or cash-handling environments.
- Ability to pass drug screening and criminal and credit background checks.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle with required liability insurance.
- Strong sales instincts with a proven ability to close deals and influence customer decisions.
- Confident, persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
- Natural relationship-builder who connects well with a wide range of customers.
- Highly motivated by goals, incentives, and pay-for-performance compensation.
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
This position works in an office providing consumer loan products in person and over the phone. Typical working hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday with some Saturdays required. Overtime may be required on an as-needed basis at the discretion of upper management.
