Security Specialist IV - CPSO - TS​/SCI clearance

We are hiring for a Security Specialist IV - Contract Program Security Officer with an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. This position is onsite in Springfield, VA.

• The Security Specialist assists the Security Support Lead in the execution of all security-related functions. The Security Specialist is responsible for physical security, industrial security, information security, personnel security, and cyber security, and possesses knowledge of collateral, SCI, and SAP security regulations.
• Assist in solving DoD and DoN security problems.
• Manage special access programs, insider threat programs, and security education/training awareness programs.
• Provide day-to-day administrative security support.
• Track memoranda of agreements, transition plans, co-utilization agreements, classifications guides, and other security documentation as required.
• Conduct facility security self-reviews annually and provide corrective action plans as necessary.
• Establish and maintain an electronic database for all program facilities and personnel.
• Subject matter expertise in the use of Security Information Management Systems (SIMS) is highly desired.

• 2+ years of security specialist experience.
• 2+ years of experience using the Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).
• Bachelor's degree (desired).
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) (desired).
• Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• Onsite work is required due to the classified nature/location of the program.
