Security Officer

Location

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living, Springfield, Virginia (58‑acre continuing‑care retirement community).

Security & Emergency Services (SES) Officer responsible for patrolling the campus, welcoming guests, responding to non‑emergency requests, and participating in emergency medical responder training after 45 days.

• Participate in routine interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections supporting Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Receive calls for non‑emergency service via dispatch, radio, or telephone and respond timely.
• Respond and assist in community emergencies including fires, floods, severe weather, hazardous materials incidents, bomb threats, and evacuations.
• Create first impressions by greeting visitors and screening vehicles and pedestrians.
• Document all visitor and vendor activity and manage parking passes and directions.

• At least 18 years old.
• Current and valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Professional and responsive interaction skills with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
• Ability to document daily activities clearly and concisely.
