Armed DCJS Guard

We are seeking professional and dependable Armed DCJS Security Officers with an active Secret Clearance to support operations at a secure, undisclosed government-related site in Springfield, Virginia. This position is ideal for candidates with prior military, law enforcement, or high-level security experience who can maintain a strong security presence while adhering to strict federal and site-specific protocols.

The selected candidate will be responsible for protecting personnel, property, and sensitive information within a controlled environment. Officers must demonstrate excellent situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively during emergencies.

• Provide armed security services at a secure government-related facility
• Control access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the property
• Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in accordance with post orders
• Prepare accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Enforce site rules, safety regulations, and federal security procedures
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times

• Active Virginia DCJS Armed Security Officer License
• Active Secret Clearance (required)
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of armed security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Must pass background investigation and drug screening

• Prior experience in federal contract security
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Military veterans strongly encouraged to apply
