Alternate Contractor SAP Security Officer; ACSSO Security Clearance

Position: Alternate Contractor SAP Security Officer (ACSSO) with Security Clearance
CSCI is hiring a mission‑focused Security professional to support Special Access Program (SAP) operations in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment. The candidate must have a current TS/SCI Clearance. This position is on-site, Monday-Friday in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities Responsible for supporting CSCI at the Springfield office. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring all SAP requirements, including but not limited to the following:
* Security Governance – Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
* Personnel Security – Support clearance processing in a Multi-Level Security environment, insider threat mitigation, and assist with implementing a Security education program.
* Information Security – Assist with data protection strategies, access control, incident response coordination, and secure handling of classified and sensitive information.
* Physical Security – Assist in implementing and maintaining access controls, facility protection measures, and physical risk assessments.
* Administrative Security Support – Maintain documentation, manage security records, and support audits and inspections. Skills - Minimum of 5 Years Experience

Required Qualifications:

* US Citizenship
* Current TS/SCI clearance (SSBI within 5 years)
* 5+ years DoD security experience
* 3–5 years SAP or SCI experience
* SPO certification; JADS/JADE familiarity
* Strong communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in security or business
* SFPC certification (optional) Experience Levels: LEVEL 1 – requires a minimum of 3 years related experience LEVEL 2 – requires a minimum of 5 years related experience. LEVEL 3 – requires a minimum of 8 years related experience. LEVEL 4 – requires a minimum of 10 years related experience. This position is classified as a Level 2; however, we are open to Level 3 Security professionals.

Applicants are required to have, at a minimum, a TOP SECRET (TS) clearances with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years. Compensation Compensation at CSCI is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.

The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. While monetary compensation is important, it’s just one component of CSCI’s total compensation package.
