PositionSecurity Officer Armed Area Patrol in Springfield, VA — part-time role in tech/media/telecom environments. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter incidents, and support a professional atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. This armed post emphasizes reliability, integrity, and teamwork in routine patrols and daily interactions while helping protect people, property, and operations.

Pay Rate: $27.04 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and report concerns through established channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including offices, production areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, with site conditions varying by location.
- Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry, theft, tampering, and disruptions by verifying credentials and observing activity per post orders.
- Support security-related operations within a technology and media-focused location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when needed, and coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders.
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age (21+ required for armed roles).
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws;

- Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
