Junior Multiskilled Facilities Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Junior Multiskilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations. This entry‑level role works under the guidance of senior maintenance staff and provides hands‑on experience across multiple skilled trades, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, safety‑conscious, and committed to developing technical skills while contributing to daily facility operations.
Primary Responsibilities- Respond to facility maintenance trouble calls and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist senior technicians with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Perform assigned routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Support repairs involving lighting, doors, locks, fixtures, and minor carpentry.
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with company policies and applicable codes and regulations.
- Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor hours in the work order system.
- Communicate professionally with building occupants regarding maintenance activities and work status.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Participate in on‑the‑job training and skill development across multiple maintenance disciplines.
- TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic knowledge or hands‑on experience in one or more maintenance trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance).
- Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependable attendance.
- Technical school or vocational training in a maintenance‑related field.
- 1-2 years of facilities or maintenance experience.
- Basic understanding of preventative maintenance programs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with work order or maintenance tracking systems.

Pay Range:
This position is within the Leidos pay range for this job level. Compensation is based on experience and qualification.
