Pay and Schedule:
Pay: $25-27 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours guaranteed per week, possibility of overtime.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- You must be a US Citizen.
- Proven experience as a drywall journeyman with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site safety protocols.
- Experience working on commercial and residential construction projects of varying sizes.
- Proficiency with advanced drywall finishing and hanging techniques, including texturing and specialty coatings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of related trades such as framing or painting to enhance collaboration on projects.
- Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to project blueprints and specifications.
- Tape, mud, and sand drywall joints to create smooth, seamless surfaces ready for painting or finishing.
- Inspect installed drywall for defects or damage and perform necessary repairs to maintain quality standards.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, including drywall lifts, saws, and sanding equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentices or less experienced workers as needed.
