HVAC Mechanic
ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced HVAC Mechanic for a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia. Great Pay and Benefits for an HVAC Mechanic:
Competitive pay rate; $48.58 - $60.00/hour depending on experience and benefits chosen 11 annual paid holidays;
Minimum of 2 weeks of paid annual leave;

Duties and Responsibilities The HVAC Mechanic will maintain and repair HVAC equipment throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia. This role involves working in secure environments in support of mission-critical operations. Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Adding refrigerant to or removing refrigerant from equipment;
Installing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems;
Cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures;
Replacing component and parts (pumps, pipes, fans, etc.);
Using power and hand tools safely to support the facilities;
Maintaining air and water treatment systems;
Inspecting refrigerant systems for leaks;
Reading blueprints & schematics, utility plans, mechanical drawings, and electrical and wiring diagrams;
Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System; and Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience Must be a US citizen and must be eligible to obtain and maintain a top secret clearance with full-scope polygraph;
Candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment;
Journeyman HVAC or Master HVAC license; EPA Universal certification;
High school diploma or equivalent;
Must demonstrate proficiency with the following:
Familiarity with building codes, ordinances and regulations of state and local authorities pertaining to HVAC; and Proficiency with ASHRAE standards to include ASHRAE 55
-Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, ASHRAE 62.1 – Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, and ASHRAE 180 - Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems.
