Our 450,000-square-foot flagship facility includes two NHL-sized ice rinks, an Olympic-size competition pool, commercial HVAC systems, fitness centers, basketball courts, restaurants, athletic training spaces, and event venues—all under one roof. As a Facilities Engineer, you'll help maintain a unique and complex facility while working on a wide variety of commercial building systems.
From commercial HVAC and plumbing to electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and refrigeration systems supporting our ice rinks, you'll gain hands-on experience in an environment unlike any other. No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new skills, and taking pride in keeping a world-class facility operating at its best.
- Respond to maintenance work orders throughout the facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
- Assist in maintaining equipment supporting our two NHL-sized ice rinks, including exposure to commercial refrigeration systems.
- Assist in maintaining the Olympic-size competition pool and related mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair doors, lighting, fixtures, equipment, and general building components.
- Inspect and maintain athletic venues, public spaces, mechanical rooms, and common areas.
- Complete repairs accurately and document completed work.
- Work alongside contractors and specialized vendors on larger maintenance and capital projects.
- Assist with event setups to ensure venues are ready for guests, athletes, and events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout the facility.
- Respond to occasional after-hours maintenance emergencies.
- Assist with seasonal exterior maintenance and snow removal when needed.
- Experience in commercial building or facilities maintenance.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
- Interest in learning and working with commercial refrigeration systems that support our ice rinks.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and work independently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school, technical certification, or relevant maintenance experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in mechanical spaces.
- Frequently stand, walk, kneel, crouch, bend, and reach.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions when necessary.
