Full Stack Software Engineer; TS​/SCI

Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence and seeks a Mid‑level Full‑Stack Software Engineer (TS/SCI) to join our Springfield, VA customer facility. The role involves working closely with data scientists, geospatial analysts, all‑source analysts, and the cybersecurity team to build and maintain applications that serve a targeted user base.

U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to obtain a CI polygraph.

What You’ll Be Doing
Develop web applications for real‑time query and analysis of petabyte‑scale data; create distributed analytics; transition data science workflows into user‑friendly applications for analysts.

Minimum Requirements

• U.S. citizen with current TS/SCI clearance, SCI eligibility, and willingness to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field (4 additional years of experience may substitute for a bachelor’s; a master’s counts as an additional 2 years).
• 5+ years of programming, design, and development experience.
• Independent ownership of the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming language; experience with Django, SQL Alchemy, Hibernate.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad).
• Experience with ORM software and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and remote system workflows (SSH, port forwarding, server/client architecture).
• Exposure to cloud‑like environments (e.g., Open Stack) and agile practices;
  Git Lab skills required.
• Full‑time on‑site in Springfield, VA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, FastAPI).
• Experience with front‑end development using React, Angular, or other JS framework.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Spark, Hadoop (HDFS, YARN).
• REST API development/maintenance.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Pay Transparency
The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $137,000 - $228,000 annually
.
