AWS AI Cloud Engineer
As an AWS AI Cloud Engineer, you will deliver end-to-end Generative AI (GenAI) solutions in a fast, agile environment. You will translate vision into production‑ready systems, master new tools and techniques, and help clients overcome complex challenges using modern architectural approaches. Your work will focus on enterprise‑scale GenAI optimizations, system modernization, and cloud‑native architectures.
Responsibilities- Develop and deploy GenAI solutions from concept to production.
- Design and implement cloud‑native architecture patterns (ECS, EKS, Amazon Bedrock, Cloud Watch, RDS, Dynamo
DB, IAM, security groups, network security). - Identify and implement system improvements and optimizations.
- Ensure solutions consider current architecture, operating environment, and future enhancements.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve the most difficult technical challenges.
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a cloud‑first development mindset.
- 2+ years with Generative AI technologies and LLM deployment.
- 2+ years with AWS services and cloud‑native architecture patterns.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
- Experience deploying production geospatial applications from concept to O&M.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation.
- Experience with API management (batching, caching, throttling, rate limiting).
- Experience with Lang Graph or Lang Chain.
- Leadership experience in large‑scale technical initiatives.
- Experience in system design for scalability and reliability.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or Developer.
- IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP.
Applicants must hold a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $86,800.00–$ (annualized USD). This is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package. Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for benefit programs.
