Location
Onsite in Springfield, VA.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications, software platforms, or enterprise systems.
- Build responsive, user-friendly front‑end applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Develop back‑end services, APIs, and integrations to support scalable and secure applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including developers, designers, project managers, cybersecurity teams, and stakeholders.
- Support Agile/SCRUM software development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Work with databases, data models, and application integrations.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Dev Ops practices.
- Manage multiple competing priorities while delivering high‑quality technical solutions within project timelines.
- Develop applications within cloud, enterprise, or regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, web development, or application engineering roles.
- Experience with one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Type Script, Python, Java, C#, PHP, or similar technologies.
- Experience developing modern web applications using front‑end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Familiarity with back‑end development frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
- Highly polished communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast‑paced development environments.
- Active U.S. security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience working with SQL and/or No
SQL databases. - Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure software development principles.
- Experience supporting enterprise, government, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
