Third Shift Operator

What You Will Do

• Work with operators, data managers, Raytheon's factory team of engineers and technologists, subcontractors, peers, customers, and product vendors to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting toward resolution of technical system anomalies.
• Maintain the environment by identifying anomalies and restoring operations or working with senior engineers for action.
• Assist with installing upgrades, monitor system and network performance, initiate troubleshooting, and collaborate with other organizations.
• Follow existing operational policies and procedures, troubleshoot hardware, software and operating system issues, and escalate application problems to support teams.
• Weekday third shift (10:00pm–6:00am) with one 12‑hour weekend (Saturday and Sunday) approximately every five weeks after initial training; shift differential applies.
• After a weekend shift worked, select three days off of your choosing the following week.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of two years’ experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience with Linux commands.
• Security+ certification (preferred).
• Experience in the Intelligence Community (IC) (preferred).
• Familiarity with technical documentation.
• Comfortable performing normal duties collocated with the customer.
• Proven ability in strong customer support.
• Strong team player with good communication and detailed problem‑tracking for system reports.

• Salary range: $86,800–$165,200

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSACAS) handles the clearance process.
