Springfield, VA (7500 Geoint Dr) – on‑site Position:
Operator – Operations and Sustainment Team Role Type:
Full‑time, SOC (24/7) operations with customer presence
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph – Existing active clearance required prior to start date
Weekend overnight shifts (6:00pm – 6:00am) and two additional 8‑hour overnight shifts during the week following initial training. Shift differential applies.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with operators, data managers, engineers, subcontractors, peers, customers, and product vendors to provide Tier1 and Tier2 troubleshooting for system anomalies.
- Identify and resolve operational anomalies, restoring normal system functionality or coordinating with senior engineers for action.
- Assist with installing upgrades, monitoring system and network performance, initiating troubleshooting, and coordinating across organizations.
- Follow existing operational policies, troubleshoot hardware, software and operating system issues, and elevate application problems to support teams.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum five (5) years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and minimum two (2) years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government–issued security clearance required before start date.
- Proficient with Linux command‑line tools.
- Strong customer‑support skills, effective communication, and detailed problem‑tracking for system reporting.
- Preferred:
Security+ certification, experience in the Intelligence Community, familiarity with technical documentation.
Salary range: 86,800
USD – 165,200
USD (good‑faith estimate).
