Metric5 is hiring a Data Engineer to design and maintain secure data infrastructure across client domains in Springfield, VA. You will build CDC pipelines using Debezium, stream with Apache Kafka, and optimize Flink jobs for real-time processing.
You will also configure Vector pipelines, manage Open Search ingest and indexing, and collaborate with NestJS developers to ensure data contracts and query patterns are efficient. Lightweight on-site schedule with occasional after-hours work.
