Geo Owl is seeking a Palantir Developer / Data & Application Engineer to design, develop, and support data-driven applications, workflows, pipelines, and analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP
. The ideal candidate will combine software development and data engineering expertise with the ability to translate mission requirements into practical, user-focused solutions.
- Develop applications and operational workflows using Palantir Workshop, Slate, and AIP
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Pipeline Builder, Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Design and maintain Palantir Ontology objects, relationships, properties, and actions
- Integrate data from APIs, databases, files, and other enterprise sources
- Develop dashboards and analytical products using Workshop, Contour, and Quiver
- Perform data analysis, data quality checks, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, mission users, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Provide user training, technical documentation, and mentorship
- Apply security, access-control, data governance, and software development standards
- Evaluate and implement new Palantir capabilities, including AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflows
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, analytics, or a related technical field
- 1–2+ years of hands‑on Palantir Foundry development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Contour, or Quiver
- Experience with data integration, data modeling, and data pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, Virginia
- Experience with Palantir AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflows
- Palantir Foundry certification or formal Palantir training
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with Dev Ops/CI/CD and enterprise security frameworks
- Experience supporting U.S. Government, defense, or intelligence missions
