Warehouse Laborer Swing Shift: Springville Shift Differential

Job Description

Warehouse Laborer. Responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. Tasks include operating forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks, as appropriate, and collaborating with teams to ensure accurate and timely material movement.

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck, and electric pallet jack.
• Follows work orders or oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
• Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area.
• Counts and records number of units moved or handled, and records breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps bundles together.
• Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance in the warehouse and sales center offices.
• Wears company-provided uniform and safety equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• High degree of accuracy in material handling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to loud noise, outdoor conditions, combustibles, and large machinery acceptable.

Earn up to $17.75 an hour.
