Job Description
Primary
Location:
Springville, Utah
- Drive truck on established routes to deliver beverage product to customer business locations on highways, rural, and city streets in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Work without direct supervision to deliver all products for established routes.
- Effectively communicate issues and customer concerns to supervisor.
- Record sales, buy‑back, delivery, and variance information on daily sales or delivery record.
- Operate computerized inventory and invoicing system to accurately record stops, deliveries, and any errors on the route.
- Operate hand trucks and electric pallet jacks.
- Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise.
- Conduct or supervise truck loading and unloading and secure loads.
- Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
- Perform daily inspection and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance on truck and maintain a clean vehicle.
- Construct or assemble display aids from company‑provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
- Wear company‑provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety standards and procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
May depend on route.
Qualifications- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Some states require employees to be 18 years of age or older when promoting, merchandising, and delivering alcoholic beverages.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsCommercial Driver’s License, Class
A. Must obtain a DOT medical card. Must meet company driver qualifications.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to perform basic math and business math functions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
