Position: Estimator (Heavy Civil Construction)
Job Role s and Responsibilities

Prepare accurate quantitative estimates for bidding, accounting, and cost control purposes.
Review project documents, plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents during project transition and startup phases.
Manage multiple bid opportunities simultaneously.
Analyze labor, equipment, material, and production costs.
Develop detailed cost estimates and financial analyses for projects.
Utilize estimating and bidding software to evaluate production risks and prepare reports.
Solicit, review, and manage vendor and subcontractor quotations.
Compile actual project cost data for comparison and analysis.
Present estimates and cost analyses to management and stakeholders.
Support profitability goals through accurate estimating and budgeting.
Assist with identifying and pursuing future project opportunities.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, accountants, and operations teams.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Certifications

Valid driver's license or government-issued identification.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
5-10 years of estimating or related construction experience.
Experience in construction estimating, preferably within heavy civil, wet utilities, drilling, or concrete projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with estimating and bidding software preferred.
Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents.
Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience managing large-scale construction projects and budgets.
