Our fast-growing civil construction firm is looking for a Civil Estimator who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment and wants to be part of shaping the infrastructure of tomorrow.
What You’ll DoAs our Civil Estimator, you’ll be the maestro of project costs, translating designs and plans into accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure every detail is accounted for, every risk is mitigated, and every estimate reflects our commitment to quality and excellence.
Your daily adventures will include:
- Reviewing plans, specifications, and scopes to develop detailed estimates for civil construction projects.
- Performing quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and risk assessments to deliver precise and competitive bids.
- Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to validate pricing and project assumptions.
- Supporting preconstruction planning by providing cost guidance and value engineering solutions.
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of material costs, labor rates, and market trends.
- Presenting estimates and recommendations to leadership in a clear, confident, and professional manner.
- 3+ years of civil estimating experience (heavy/civil, utilities, earthwork, or municipal projects preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail—your numbers always add up.
- Proficiency in estimating software (Bluebeam, HCSS, Trimble, or similar).
- A collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities with grace under pressure.
