Mechanical Estimator

Ready to move beyond small bids and take ownership of major mechanical/plumbing projects?

We’re looking for a Mechanical Estimator with strong plumbing / wet-side estimating experience who can confidently handle projects starting around $5M and ideally up to $30M+.

• $120,000–$150,000+ salary

• Estimate mechanical and plumbing/wet-side scopes on $5M–$30M+ projects
• Perform detailed takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation
• Review drawings, specifications, proposals, and project requirements
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
• Use Quote Soft to build and manage estimates
• Identify value engineering opportunities, cost risks, and bid issues
• Participate in bid reviews and project handoffs

• 3+ years of mechanical/plumbing estimating experience
• Proven experience estimating projects of $1M+
• Ideally, experience with $30M+ projects
• Strong wet-side mechanical/plumbing background
  
  Experience with
  Quote Soft or similar estimating software
• Understanding of plumbing/mechanical codes and industry standards
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Project experience that fits:

Healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, universities, and other large commercial projects.
