Overview

Qualifications- Native or bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Reception background. Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with no prior experience.
- Greet all patients upon arrival and ensure their needs are met.
- Monitor patient arrivals and manage scheduling to optimize the day.
- Schedule all appointments and update patient records (addresses, phone numbers, insurance) as they arrive.
- Stabilize production by planning the ideal day and identifying open time slots for various appointment types.
- Support morning meetings by facilitating the scheduling portion and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Maintain the schedule, adjusting as necessary to ensure efficiency.
- Process new patient information, including telephone slips and forwarding documents.
- Track and document new patient calls and referral sources.
- Oversee and train staff on the scheduling software and related processes.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the office manager and doctor.
- Frequent translation of complex industry jargon between languages and professional communication.

Requirements & Experience- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or healthcare-related education preferred.
- Previous experience in dental or healthcare scheduling preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and patient service skills.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
