Estimator - Mechanical (Plumbing/Wet Side)

Location:

Springville, UT (Utah County)

Salary: DOE $120- $150k+

We are seeking a Senior Estimator with strong experience in mechanical and plumbing (wet side) systems to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects. This role is critical to driving accurate, competitive bids and partnering cross-functionally with operations and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical/plumbing scopes on projects ranging from $5M to $30M+

* Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing

* Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes

* Utilize estimating software (Quote Soft or similar) to build and manage bids

* Identify value engineering opportunities and risk factors

* Support bid reviews, presentations, and handoff to project management

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of estimating experience in mechanical/plumbing construction

* Proven track record estimating projects $1M+ (experience with $30M+ highly preferred)

* Proficiency in Quote Soft or comparable estimating platforms

* Strong understanding of wet-side systems, codes, and industry standards

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
