Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 DOE

REP Labs is an ecommerce brand aggregator, incubator, and growth agency. We acquire, launch, and scale our own consumer brands while also providing full-stack ecommerce growth services to external clients. Our capabilities span paid media (Meta, Google, Amazon, TV), CRO, content production, sourcing and supply chain, 3PL fulfillment, and operational infrastructure. In short—we build and scale ecommerce brands end to end.

REP Labs is currently in a phase of rapid and accelerating growth. We are aggressively acquiring new brands, expanding our portfolio, and growing our team as we scale. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Controller to own and manage all accounting and financial operations across REP Labs and its portfolio of internally operated brands. This role is critical to the financial health and scalability of the company and will work closely with leadership and external partners and report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and excited to grow into a leadership role over time and will ideally be leading the future financial team for the organization.

Experience as a CPA is a bonus but not necessary.

• Own all accounting and bookkeeping for REP Labs and all internally owned brands in Quick Books Online
• Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and invoicing
• Oversee payroll processing and provide light HR support
• File and manage state sales tax compliance for brands with nexus
• Maintain organized, up-to-date data rooms with financial documentation for all entities
• Ensure entity compliance, including general liability insurance and required filings
• Maintain basic tax oversight and serve as the primary point of contact with CPAs for:
• Year-end taxes
• 1099 filings
• General tax coordination and communication
• Improve financial processes, reporting, and internal controls as the company scales
• Prepare to eventually build and manage an internal accounting/finance team

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance roles
• Proficiency in Quick Books
• Experience managing multi-entity accounting (agency, ecommerce, or portfolio brands preferred)
• Strong understanding of ecommerce financials (COGS, inventory, sales tax, merchant processors, etc.)
• Familiarity with payroll systems and basic HR processes
• Experience working with CPAs and external tax partners
• Highly organized, detail-driven, and process-oriented
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
