Position: Warehouse Loader

Pay Rate: Earn up to $17.75 an hour!

Shift: Monday-Friday;
Weekends Off;
Major Holidays Off!

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

• Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck and/or electric pallet jack.
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
• Loads materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area.
• Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on appropriate sheets.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other containers.
• Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and wraps bundles together.
• Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance in warehouse and sales center offices.
• Wears company provided uniform and safety equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience preferred.
• High reading and communication skills sufficient to understand written or oral instructions.
• Basic mathematical abilities.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Attendance/punctuality, attention to detail, dependability, reliability, productivity, safety, teamwork, technology application.
• Certificates: CO2 Filling Operator, forklift operator certified.

Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move unaided up to 60 pounds and exert force up to 100 pounds to lift or move objects with aid of a manual lifting device. Specific vision abilities required include distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles; occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, explosives, and vibration. Noise level usually loud.
