Position

Merchandiser – Springville, Utah

Pay: $17.00 an hour + $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Shifts:

Full time, Part time, Seasonal.

• Arrange products according to a prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
• Place price and descriptive signs on backdrops, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfer product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
• Order product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out‑of‑stocks conditions.
• Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
• Construct or assemble display aids from company‑provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Education:

high school diploma or GED, or 1‑3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination.
Must meet company driver qualifications.
Communication: read, understand, and produce simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
Mathematical: perform basic arithmetic, interpret ratios, percentages, and graphs.
Other: some states require employees to be 21 years of age or older when promoting, merchandising, or delivering alcoholic beverages.

Stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally sit, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds unassisted and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds using a hand‑truck or other manual device. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment includes occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
