Position: 1st Cook with LandSea
Land Sea is hiring a 1st Cook for its catering services aboard the MV Isabelle in stunning Squamish, British Columbia. This role involves planning, supervising, and executing culinary operations.

In this supervisory capacity, you'll oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that high quality and safety standards are maintained. You will coordinate menu development, manage food ordering, and teach cooking techniques to kitchen staff. This role not only emphasizes culinary excellence but also embraces a collaborative team environment in a rewarding setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead food preparation and cooking activities daily

• Manage kitchen inventory and support ordering processes

• Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards

• Supervise and mentor kitchen assistants and 2nd Cooks

• Oversee cleaning tasks to maintain kitchen standards

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a culinary setting

• Food Safety certification for BC is mandatory

• Proven skills in leadership and organization

• Experience in inventory and supply ordering

• Physical ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs
