Deputy Manager

Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team on a part‑time basis, working three days a week. As our Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of the nursery, delivering high-quality care and education to our children.

• Support the Nursery Manager in day‑to‑day operations and management
• Ensure the nursery operates in compliance with all regulations and best practices
• Lead and support the nursery team, overseeing their professional development
• Implement and review educational programs aligned with the EYFS framework
• Engage with parents and families to build strong, supportive relationships
• Act as a role model for staff and children, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education
• Assist with administrative and record‑keeping tasks as required

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
• Previous experience in a deputy or similar role within an early years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• A passion for working with children and supporting their development
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Current DBS check and relevant training certifications
