About Our Nursery – Busy Bees St Albans GlenalmondRated Good by Ofsted, this nursery has a capacity of 116 children and features a centre with extensive history, including original paneling in the main foyer and beautiful high ceilings, along with stunning stained glass windows throughout the setting. The nursery consists of seven base rooms spread across three floors, thoughtfully divided into different age ranges and stages to cater to the diverse needs of our children.
Conveniently located within easy distance of the M25 and M1, we also offer complimentary lunches and free parking for staff. Additional features include a soft play area, a sensory room, and an exclusive preschool programme, enhancing our nurturing environment for early childhood development.

RoleResponsibilities
- Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment:
Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning. - Lead Educational
Activities:
Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). - Key Person Role:
Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
- Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
- Skills:
Good communication, capable or excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
