Installer, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Installation Technician

What you will do

• The role is to install, refurbish and/or repair a variety of traffic signalling equipment, as well as electrical street equipment such as street lighting, CCTV and barrier systems, to customer specifications.
• You will take control of a work site, manage tasks to be completed on time and deliver smooth handovers to customers.
• Customer service is key to delivery, and you will ensure that QHSSE regulations and procedures are followed at all times.
• Although predominantly based in the St Albans area, you may be required to work in other Service Centre districts, which could involve overnight stays.

• GCSEs in English, Maths & Sciences (or equivalent)
• Sector 8 Accreditation (desirable, however, training will be provided)
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Understanding of traffic signal site installation and basic theory
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• The ability to work at heights
• An organised and enthusiastic work ethic
• Full driving licence
• Right to live and work in the UK
