Full time permanent. Salary £30,000 - £42,000 + on-call, overtime & benefits. Metro Rod works with major clients nationwide across FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Location:
Bedford, Luton & Watford – LU, AL, MK postcode areas.
Provide emergency drain clearance, cleaning, repair, installation and maintenance services for commercial and domestic drainage systems. Deliver high standards of customer service, technical expertise and maintain company, vehicle and equipment in line with H&S and quality procedures.
Responsibilities- Carry out a range of emergency services: cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of customer assets new and old.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
- Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment.
- Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems.
- Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times.
- Have a positive and helpful can-do attitude.
- Cover normal working hours and on call out-of-hours on a rota basis, and be flexible for emergency situations outside scheduled periods.
- Experience in commercial & domestic drainage is essential.
- Experience in drain cleaning, drain repairs, patch lining.
- Familiar with drainage tickets including HPWJ, confined spaces and CSCS.
- Experience with CCTV surveys and lining an advantage.
- Positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
- Willing to work occasional unsociable hours.
- Hold a full UK driving licence – must be over 21 for insurance purposes.
- Must live in the postcode areas noted above.
