MULTISKILLED TECHNICIAN WITH HGV Key Details £30,000 Airdrie, Scotland Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 1.5x overtime Monday-Saturday 2x overtime Sundays and Bank Holidays 21 days annual leave including bank holidays ABOUT THE CLIENT We're recruiting for an established organisation delivering essential environmental and industrial services. This is a varied, practical opportunity where no two days are quite the same. You'll work as part of a close-knit team operating vehicles and specialist equipment across environmental clean-ups, industrial services and groundworks.
THE BENEFITS £30,000 salary 21 days annual leave including bank holidays Enhanced overtime rates Training on specialist equipment and vehicles Varied site-based work Overtime opportunities through emergency call-outs THE MULTISKILLED TECHNICIAN WITH HGV ROLE Operate jetting and clean-up equipment Operate company vehicles, including HGVs where appropriately qualified Respond to spills, fly-tipping and environmental hazards Support civil engineering and industrial service projects Complete vehicle checks and maintenance reporting Liaise with customers Complete relevant job documentation Participate in an emergency call-out rota Travel and work away where required MULTISKILLED TECHNICIAN WITH HGV ESSENTIAL SKILLS Full UK driving licence Practical, hands-on approach Flexible attitude towards working hours Strong team-working skills Willingness to travel and stay away when required, including at short notice
Experience with in a similar environment or willingness to learn HGV or plant experience would be beneficial RAMS and health and safety knowledge preferred For service leavers, experience gained in military transport, engineering, logistics, plant or operational environments could transfer particularly well into this position.
