Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Building Principal, the Licensed Teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans and presenting district curriculum in assigned instructional subjects. This role includes delivering and instructing students, evaluating and assessing student progress, and collaborating with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel to address student needs and district learning initiatives. The WP, SAMS, SAVHS programs will run June 9-12, 15-18, and 22-25.
The teaching hours at WP will be 9 am to 12:00 pm and the SAMS/SAVHS program will be from 8:00 to 11:00 am with additional planning hours prior to the start date and during the ESY program. Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) will be held the weeks of June 16-18 and 23-25.
- Provide direct instruction on IEP goals through ESY.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals and families.
- Report on progress on individual goals.
- Degree:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Education or relevant instructional subject area.
- License:
- Licensed teacher in the State of MN.
- Experience:
- Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting.
- Knowledge of school and district rules, regulations, and procedures or willingness to be trained.
- Salary Range: $/hour based on the SAVEA contract
