Looking for more than just a patrol assignment? The St. Anthony Police Department is growing to a team of 30 sworn officers and offers a career built on opportunity, teamwork, and professional development.
Officers work 12‑hour patrol shifts (6 AM–6 PM and 6 PM–6 AM) with every other weekend off. Beyond patrol, officers can pursue specialized assignments including SWAT (tactical and negotiator), Investigations, Ramsey County VCET, grant‑funded traffic enforcement details, Drone Team, Peer Support Team, Community Engagement Team, and instructor roles in firearms, defensive tactics, and field training.
From day one, new officers are supported through a mentorship program designed to promote success and professional growth. Our department works closely with city leadership and partner departments, creating a collaborative culture focused on providing exceptional public safety service with pride and professionalism.
Hiring Incentive (Conditions Apply)- $5,000 for New Officers
