You'll help maintain and improve our homes and communities across North Wales, carrying out a wide range of groundworks and repairs while enjoying the stability, support and benefits that come with working for a trusted housing association.

What's in it for you?

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays - rising to 30 days after 5 years' service
  • Option to buy or sell annual leave - extra flexibility to suit you
  • Additional earnings through our on-call rota - currently one week in every seven, paid in addition to your salary
  • Consistent workload - no chasing jobs or worrying about where the next one is coming from
  • Supportive team culture - experienced colleagues who are ready to help when needed
  • Training and development opportunities - helping you grow your skills and progress your career
  • A role with purpose - your work helps maintain safe, quality homes and thriving communities across North Wales
  • Job security with a trusted social landlord - join an organisation committed to investing in its people and communities
What You'll Be Doing

You'll carry out a variety of groundworks and maintenance work across our homes and communities, including:

  • Drainage repairs and installations
  • Brickwork, blockwork and localised rendering repairs
  • Concreting and tarmac repairs
  • Fencing, paving and kerb installations
  • Landscaping and external property improvements
  • Excavating trenches and preparing foundations
  • Setting up sites safely, including barriers and signage
  • Operating groundworks tools and equipment
  • Supporting responsive repairs and void property works
  • Delivering excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders

No two days are the same, but you'll always have the backing of a team that wants you to succeed.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from experienced Ground workers who:

  • Hold a relevant Groundworks qualification
  • Have at least 2 years' experience in a Groundworker role
  • Have experience carrying out drainage works, paving, concreting, fencing, brickwork and general ground maintenance repairs
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Are happy to participate in an on-call rota
  • Take pride in delivering quality workmanship
  • Are confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Put safety and customer service first

Qualifications such as NRSWA (Street Works), NPORS/CPCS plant operation certification or a CSCS Card would be advantageous, but they're not essential.
