• Interpretation: Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Cutting & Shaping: Measure, mark, cut, bend, and form metal into specific shapes using various tools.
• Welding: Join metal components using MIG, TIG, Stick, or other processes to meet strict specifications.
• Assembly: Fit and assemble weldments and other parts.
• Quality Control: Inspect welds and finished products for structural soundness and adherence to standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate welding machines, grinders, cranes, and other shop equipment.
• Maintenance: Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and in good working order.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Material Handling: Move materials using forklifts or overhead cranes.
