Working a continental day shift pattern, you will be responsible for ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is completed efficiently, maintaining compliance across the site, and driving high standards of service delivery.

Day Shift Leader

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems Perform electrical fault-finding and diagnostics Work on single and three-phase power systems Carry out emergency lighting tests and maintenance Monitor and operate BMS systems Maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors Oversee generators, UPS systems, and critical plant equipment Assist with VAV and VRF systems Ensure water treatment checks and compliance tasks are completed Supervise subcontractors and ensure all works are carried out safely and to standard Maintain accurate site logbooks and reports Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and occupants Support and oversee on-site engineers to ensure smooth building operation Day Shift Leader Requirements City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations Electrically biased with strong commercial building maintenance experience Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred Strong understanding of critical building services plant Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities Good client-facing and communication skills Apprenticeship trained (desirable) Day Shift Leader Salary & Benefits £55,000 – £58,000 per annum Continental day shift pattern HV training provided 22 days annual leave Company pension scheme Overtime opportunities available Genuine opportunities for internal progression Ongoing training and development support Posted by Luke Clark
