Systems Integrator Technician

Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a Systems Integrator Technician to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia.

• Interprets data, installs, tests, maintains, and repairs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, personal computers, and terminals measuring and controlling equipment.
• Applies expertise in programming procedures to complex programs; recommends redesign of programs, investigates and analyzes program requirements, develops programming specifications, and plans the full range of programming actions to produce interrelated products from diverse data sources.
• Develops, modifies, and maintains complex programs; designs and implements interrelations of files and records within programs; works with problems or concepts; develops programs to solve major computer problems requiring analysis and control of equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must have four (4) years of experience with electronics or electronic control systems, or have successfully completed two (2) years of formal training.
• Must have working knowledge of various software including, but not limited to, Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows XP, RSLinx, RSLogix, lntellution, Microsoft Excel, Logic Master, Logix, API, and Al.
• Must possess working knowledge of a variety of network protocols and general knowledge of networks: resolution processes, IP addresses, LM Host and Host files, TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, net bias, and ethernet.
• Must possess working knowledge of Ladder Logic with the ability to troubleshoot, modify, and program.
• Must be able to wire and integrate different field devices to various types of PLC and program PLCs to accept and respond to those devices.
• Must be knowledgeable in the use of field devices such as valves, flow meters, transmitters, process control equipment, motor pump control circuits, level indicators, bubblers, and other analog and digital devices.
• Must possess the tools of the trade.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must have and wear hard‑toed safety shoes that meet ASTM F2413‑0S standards.
• Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay; must obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
• U.S. citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
