Description
This Program Planning role will be responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring production, shipping, and maintenance activities in various buildings at SWFLANT, Kings Bay. The candidate will prepare and coordinate plans and schedules to communicate production requirements for the facility, develop process flows and participate in process modeling exercises, and evaluate operational impacts.
Responsibilities- Develop schedules and risk management plans, providing visibility to obstacles that may hinder production deliveries.
- Identify issues and concerns and evaluate their impact on operations.
- Coordinate production activities across the facility in collaboration with the program planning team.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders—including engineering, production and government planning—to mitigate impacts and coordinate building outages.
- Use Microsoft Office applications to support planning and scheduling functions.
- Maintain effective communication and close action items.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance; interim Secret required prior to start.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with planning and scheduling functions.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, presentation, written).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Initiative, industrious work habits, and efficient time management.
- Documented self‑starter and effective multi‑tasking skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications.
This position requires a government security clearance; the holder must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance Level: Top Secret.
Location and Work ArrangementOnsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Schedule4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
