Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department ys Regional Hospital.
Position Details- Shift: Full time, 36 hours/week

Yes - Hourly Rate: $36.71 – $56.17 (dependent on experience)
- Assess:
Perform appropriate assessment of physical, social, psychological status and gather information from the interdisciplinary team. - Plan:
Use assessment information and critical thinking to collaboratively develop individualized plans of care, involving patient, family, team, and physician. - Implement:
Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration; provide or delegate care per plan of care and guidelines. - Evaluate:
Assess patient response to interventions, review goals, and revise plan of care as needed. - Professionalism:
Promote the nursing profession, integrate legal and ethical standards, provide accurate documentation, and practice within scope of licensure.

- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Valid compact licenses transferred to the state within 60 days of hire date.
- BLS certification for healthcare providers.
- Less than 12 months RN experience must obtain a BSN within four (4) years of hire date.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) earned from an accredited institution.
- Visual and auditory acuity to read, communicate, and operate equipment.
- Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and typing.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients and supplies, including heavy items.
- Stamina to stand, walk, and maneuver in busy environments.
- Driving may be required for patient transport.
