Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practice and coordination with other health team members.
Essential Functions- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive and developmental skills.
- Collect and evaluate information from interdisciplinary team members, patients, families, physicians, and support staff.
- Develop individualized plan of care using assessment data and critical thinking skills, involving patients, families, team, and physicians.
- Coordinate and delegate patient care, ensuring consistency with the plan of care, guidelines, and professional licensure provisions.
- Set priorities, manage time, supplies, and resources to deliver patient care efficiently.
- Evaluate patient outcomes, review goal achievement, patient and family satisfaction, and revise plans as needed.
- Promote the nursing profession, adhere to legal and ethical standards, comply with regulatory standards, practice within scope of licensure, and maintain accurate documentation.

- Current registered nurse license in the state of practice.
- Valid compact licenses transferred to state of practice within 60 days of employment start.
- Minimum four (4) year plan to obtain Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for RNs with less than 12 months experience, or BSN required as of 4/27/2025.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- BSN preferred.
- Ability to see and read information, labels, and monitor equipment.
- Verbal communication and hearing, including in emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and typing.
- Capability to lift, transfer, and assist patients, and handle supplies up to heavy items.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and navigate crowded rooms.
- Vehicle operation for roles requiring driving.
Schedule:
36 weekly hours. Hourly range: $37.45 – $57.29, based on experience.
