Description

• 1. Provides protection of life and property; actively, thoroughly, and unpredictably patrols the greater campus area on foot and by vehicle.
• 2. Detects and reports violations of local, state, and federal law and violations of health system policy in a timely manner; actively monitors compliance and enforces parking control policy.
• 3. Handles morgue access and morgue related activities, including required recordkeeping and some interaction with families/next of kin, funeral homes, and the coroner's office.
• 4. Maintains lost and found items, valuables handling and storage, and issues/collects hospital keys to/from authorized persons.
• 5. Responds to and actively participates in crisis intervention situations.
• 6. Implements directives from the Public Safety Officer and Department Manager.
• 7. Performs report writing and light clerical duties.
• 8. Completes other duties as assigned.
