About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district consists of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, instructing, and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for families with children ages birth to 5 Years. For more information, please see the job description for this Parent Educator position.
Start date:
August 24, 2026 (Plus New Teacher Orientation the week before, if new to the district)
Contract:
0.78931 FTE
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-2 pm & one evening per week and occassional other prescheduled dated.
Requirements & Qualifications
Requires Bachelor degree in Education, licensure from the State of Minnesota in parent education programming and CPR/First Aid certification; must be able to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and lift up to 30 pounds. Requires Parent Educator licensure through PELSB.
Salary Range (set by Collective Bargaining Agreement): exact compensation depends on final FTE and will be prorata of the 1.0 FTE range of $46,417-$94,504; for example, the range for 0.789 FTE is $36,623-$74,563. For more information, please see the Certified Master Contract . Salary ranges listed are based on the collective bargaining agreement for school year, the collective bargaining agreement has yet to be negotiated.
